Patent Drawings Blueprints Printable Papers for Junk Journals

I have always been intrigued by the mysterious quality of blueprints (back in the day) and blackline working drawings more recently. The physical heft of a roll of working drawings, and the anticipatory tingle as a specific drawing is unrolled and laid out onto a large surface… bringing back wonderful memories of my time in a Theatre scene shop, starting as a lowly intern/apprentice and on thru my days as Assistant Tech Director, Tech Director, Assistant Designer, and finally, Designer.

As a strongly visual person. I love how working drawing reveal the physical details of objects from all angles…

As a papercrafter, I am drawn to the intricacy and inherent textures of these drawings, even taken out of the context of their original purpose…

While I am inspired by the beauty of florals and other traditionally feminine motifs, there are many times when I want an image more ambiguous…

This set of designs answered my craving for all of these…

Subtle color, grunge, and linework provide versatile and enigmatic images capable of providing visual focus or retreating into an interesting background.

This design consists of 12 Vintage Mechanical Drawings along with subtle Vintage French Ephemera. Image sizes are 11″ wide and 8 1/2 inches high. You print them yourself.
