Field Notes Booklets – Tim Holtz Grunge Style

Field Notes Booklets

I made eight of these and sent seven off to friends and family. This one went to a cousin, because the picture on the front reminded me of one of our aunts as a young woman. It isn’t her, but still…

These were a lot of fun to make. Jeffrey did the stitching for me on our vintage Singer 401, a gift from my Baby Sisty, who also was sent one. 😉

I am currently working on a similar mass make of a triple fold tag, the first of which was used as the base in Memories of Mocha.

I’ve focused on the 3 x 5 format – with its many variations – for most of 2024 so far and I’ll likely continue to do so.

Tink Tip – I have found that I make more, with less dithering, when I have the basic components ready and waiting… I have a lot of 3 x 5 ephemera in my future, which is fine by me! lolol

The last picture shows the gift envelopes ready to pack and send. I need to create a smaller version of the Letter Stencils. The ones I used here were too large for any names with more than four letters. Sigh… 😉

NOTE – Stamps used are of my own design.
